Dental implants are surgically placed in your jawbone and serve as the roots of missing teeth. Because the titanium in the implant fuses with your jawbone, the implants act and function in the same way your natural tooth/teeth would. As long as you have sufficient bone height and width, a dental implant is the clinically best solution for missing teeth. Additionally, they can serve as anchorage for dentures, preventing the use of denture creams and adhesives.

At Heights Dental Tampa, our implant placement process is quick and easy! A CT scan is taken of your mouth to determine the health of your bone; a surgical stent is fabricated and designed by Dr. Jainandan; and, within a few weeks, the implant can be placed with our very conservative surgical technique! After 4-6 months once the implant has fully integrated into your jawbone, the abutment and crown are fabricated. In order to determine your eligibility for implants, Dr. Jainandan will conduct a thorough examination during your first visit with us!
